Chinese new year

Chinese New Year passed by real quickly this year. Didn't really have the mood though, felt like it was just plainly visiting relative's house. Dad and mom decided to let sis and I keep our red packet money this year, hehe. ^-^

It's been decades since I've painted my nails. Decided to do so with sister for Chinese New Year! :) Like the crack nails but I think I used too much of it. So...

Mom helped me to redo, using pink and blue, so pretty right!!! :D

Sis did "leopard print" but it wasn't obvious.

Day two of Chinese New Year

Family came over during the second day. Waited for tissue cousin to come in the morning to buy bubbletea together with sis but she took so long. Meanwhile, played black jack with sis in the morning to kill time, HAHAH.

Chef cousin came in the evening to cook spaghetti for everyone. Freaking yummy, I had two shares. :B Or maybe it's because I'm starving...

Shirking responsibility

Starting off the post with the attractive-looking cupcake I shared with Wanlin (which we bought from baker Nabilah during the Learning Festival).

Look so pretty right!! :)

To be honest, Wanlin and I was reluctant to take the first bite in fear of food poisoning. :B But we were really brave (HAHAH) and decided to take the risk to die together by eating the cupcake. Not only did it not turn out to be as bad as we thought, it tasted pretty yummy, like those cupcakes you get from bakery shop. :)

Ohh, and the motivational talk these two days wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Had coach Ariel for this talk. Played the grocery game and zoo game today, whereby we had to use our extremely awesome memory power, HAHAH. It was fun.

Back to the intention of this post. Being the last day of Learning Festival, the day went on really well until something spoiled my day. To start off, shall label this person as Teacher J.

Since day 1, I've always thought that Teacher J was a oh-so-friendly, nice, and responsible person. I mean, everyone liked her so much because she's really polite and smile to everyone she sees. But nope, looks can be deceiving.

A week before today's lesson, she informed me about the change of timing for the ballet lessons. Being a anxious person, I immediately sent out the phone relay message. All the phone relay leaders replied that they've received the message, one of them being Student S.

To my horror, during today's ballet lesson. 4 people wasn't notified of the change in time. 2 dancers and 2 graduated dancers. All along, Teacher J was the one responsible to inform the 2 graduated dancers. And me, only responsible to inform the current dancers. (which I already did in the phone relay) Yet somehow, Teacher J came up to the dance room today and questioned me for the reason why the 4 dancers didn't receive the message.

And the reason why I'm so freaking upset was because:

1) Teacher J was supposed to message the 2 graduated dancers, which is what she have been all along. If I have been the one informing them since day 1, why do they not have my number? Logical reasoning isn't it? I find it amusing because Teacher J is shirking the responsibility to me as if I am supposed to inform them. Why can't she just admit it if she herself had forgotten to message them?

2) Student S told Jesper that she didn't know about the change of timing for ballet lessons until THIS MORNING. How can this be? I messaged all the phone relay leaders last week, and she's one of them. She even replied me that she had received the message. Ironic. The last thing she'd probably expect is that I keep all the phone relay messages that I've passed down. And there's her BIG NAME under the recipient column.

Seriously wonder how people change the facts so easily. :S I think Jesper would probably have doubt me if not for Teacher C. Couldn't thank her more than enough. Really thankful that Teacher C had taught me for two years or so.

Guilt overtook my laziness for not blogging so I'M BACK!!

Numerous events happened in school recently. One of which, is the change in Chinese teacher. Changed to the Ms Fan, I want back Bhattarai. :'( Another thing is, I'm currently in the same Chinese class as him now. UNLUCKY OR UNLUCKY. Guess I'm too sensitive but I feel that my every single movement is judged now. Thank god for Wanlin, who's currently my new Chinese table seating partner! ^-^ If not I'll most probably be seating alone. Awkward.

And yepp! Had my biology SPA today. I swear I was darn nervous, like the feeling of taking PSLE at Primary 6. Shared the same bench as Venus during the experiment. Sitting beside her makes people stress. She started mixing the solution when I've barely finished reading the instructions. >:( Unexpectedly, the experiment went on smoothly. But I'm pretty sure I got the concentration of the potato strip wrong. Oh well.

Got an awesome eccentric blue cupcake from Paigey during lunch. ♥

Headed to block 221 and 222 with 43 after school for CIP. In charge of second floor, together with Xiumin, Queenie and Venus. We were lucky since people at the second floor always don't have unwanted appliances/newspaper, HAHAH.

Headed back to school after which. Went opposite with Wanlin for bubble tea. I think both of our tummy were upset after that because both of us drank green tea + ice milo + bubble tea. :B Want to go out with this girl but our schedule forever can't seem to fit. :/

Eat Sleep Work

It has been a long week with ~~procrastination~~ school work. Barely had the time to surf the internet. (excluding twitter, that is) Had two tests even though it's only the second week, can't wait for more tests to be coming up. Hah, who am I kidding.

The only class that's getting back binomial theorem test's result only tomorrow. Hope I'll fare well. Did I mention? Genevieve got straight As for her Os, happy for her yet at the meantime, categorising her under crazy for doing sooooooo well in her studies. :b

Recuperated my loss of sleep yesterday. Woke up only at 12:30pm and made hot dog bread for brunch. Mom headed for the bed after reaching home from buying grandma's clothes. So dad cooked instant noodles for me. :B

Can't believe I went back to sleep again after I ate. So yepp, I slept more than half of my Saturday away. :'( Woke up around 7pm for ROTI PRATA with parents, uncle and cousin!

To sum up my Saturday: Wake up > Eat > Sleep > Eat > Sleep.

Dance like no one is watching

Have been really busy these few days. To be precise, I'm busy preparing the Chinese new year performance with the sec 4s. :D Can you believe it? This is the only performance whereby we're during kpop together. It'll be the first and the last I guess. :/ I still think the formations are pretty messy so hopefully we'll get it sorted out this week. :)

Missed lessons today because of the sec 1 audition. Seniors couldn't make it at the last minute so Jesper told me to take over. I swear I was in complete denial. It's like I like teaching people but not to that extent of teaching half the class. Anyway, I did in the end and hey, it wasn't that bad afterall. :) Taught the whole sec 1 level Twinkle Twinkle. Only class 14 did Roly Poly cause they picked up instructions quickly.

Went for lunch with Andrea and Lixian opposite after the last audition of the day before heading to meet Zixin. (secret) Hurried to dance room for ballet after that.

Made friends with Ruishan. She's like born in the year of 1990 yet she gets along so well with us. I even thought she's still in the first year of junior college! :b Went through grade 5 steps for the lesson and burnt off some calories, heheh. Then Wanci came! Dancing ballet with her reminds me of the time when we got scolded together and more so, practising for the ballet examination together. Hah, those were the days. :)

So yepp, yesterday was the first day of school. Well, to sum up, 43 is darn isolated. Unlike any other sec 4 classes, we're the only sec 4 class at the first floor, the only sec 4 class sitting in the centre during morning flag raising AND the only sec 4 class who's recess time is different from the others. Makes me wonder why..

Anyway, Ms Zaiton and Mr Yeo was so nice to give us a 'welcome back' gift! ^-^

After which, our seating arrangement changed. Expectedly, I'm sitting at the front row, with Benjamin. It was pretty awkward because we didn't have much to talk about but he's pretty nice. Glad glad glad that Queenie Xiumin and Venus are sitting near me! :)

Went to dance room during recess and I MANAGED TO FIND MY SPECTACLES!! Was freaking happy because I'd be dead if I lost it.

During physics, Mr Chow announced that our class will be split according to our physics grades last year and my heart practically sank. It's like I'm the odd one out since I happened to be in the same class with those in their cliques. Plus, having to climb all the way to fourth floor didn't make anything better.

BUTTTTT. When I entered the 42, I saw Amelia (phew) sitting alone so I sat with her. :DD And, Ms Jesscia Lew's my Physics teacher. Love her lessons, doesn't make me feel sleepy, listened attentively all the way. ^-^ Secret code: RMIVUXG. ;)

The highlight today was PE. The first thing we did was taking our height and weight. Since I was 29kg in sec 1 and I'm 42kg now, I actually put on 13kg in three years?! (gasp) The best thing was I was 139cm tall in sec 1 and I'm 156cm tall now!! 17cm in three years! :DD Still 4cm away from my aim tho. I. Desperately. Need. To. Jump. More. :/

Ran one round around the school before doing sit-ups, launches, running another round, push-up, and launches again. Yes, just so if you're wondering, Mr Ong is my PE teacher. Guess our class will definitely be super fit by the end of the year, hahah.

Rena and I tried skating (today) for the very first time. I fell 3 times, Rena fell around 7? Our butts were really wet and we looked like we pee, HAHAH. The unexpected thing was, I didn't felt embarrassed when I fell. I just laughed and got over it. Maybe because there was like many people falling along with me? :B Oh well. The fall was worthwhile because it was fun. And never would I have expected that I can ice skate one day. :)

Jesper didn't come for dance training today; we were supposed to discuss about our concert performance item in our groups. Sec 3s attempted dancing Twinkle Twinkle. It turned out to be better than expected because initially, I thought the discussion would go nowhere. Yes, because that was exactly what happened for the few meetings we had before.

Andrea gave this as souvenir from Korea! :D

Went to the bookshop at 12 to help out for the last time. Ate the porridge (in vacuum flask) that mom cooked. ♥ After which, the bookshop was pretty hectic, since the crowd came together. Rearranged and restock the books, with cute boy Gabriel's help. :) Felt really bad by the end of the day because I barely worked for 3 hours and auntie insisted on giving me the $25. I'll never forget the busy yet fun time at the bookshop. :') Experienced many things like..

Seeing a $1000 note for the very first time in my life. :B

Went for dental appointment yesterday. Dr Tan was unhappy because I didn't brush hard enough. Guess I'll just need to continue working on that!! :/ Headed on to City Square mall with cousins. Mom treated us to Momiji buffet. Couldn't eat a lot because my teeth hurts. >:(

Mom cooked this for my supper. :') Cried unknowingly while eating subway for dinner because it hurt so freaking bad, ate a few mouthful of the bread and I gave up.

Trained to Orchard three days ago with Rena and Venus. Bought Amelia's belated birthday present and made a card for her. :D

Woke up the latest among my family again, HAHA. Went to airport barely 30 minutes after I woke up. The airport wasn't crowded because it was pretty early. Had our breakfast at Earle Swensens Restaurant because the one we wanted to go didn't have seats. :/

Went to renew Dad's phone plan after that. Yepp, he decided to get an iPhone 4s @ $505. Then we saw something at the cashier - redemption of free angry bird plushie with expenditure of $90 and above. So being the oh-so-typical Singaporean, we went to get it. :D

Merry christmas

Had a long day last Thursday. Bookshop auntie needed me for the sec 1 orientation thing and my aunt needed me at the clinic. Had no choice but to work at the bookshop in the morning (peak hour) and rushed to clinic for work after that. Unexpectedly, I felt more energetic than ever by the end of the day. Weird or weird you tell me.

Ate tangyuan when I reached home that night. Doesn't taste as good as before. :/

And yep, last Thursday was officially my last day working at my aunt's clinic. For one reason or another, I'm pretty glad it's coming to an end. Not that I'm stressed working there or anything, but I just felt relieved. :)

Went to pepperlunch with mom yesterday for brunch!

All along in my life, I've never ever celebrated Christmas. More like, my family don't. This year was a first, although it can't really be considered a celebration.

Supposed to meet Wanlin at 2:30, but she lost track of time and called me so I left home late. Suddenly felt warm and giddy in the train, almost vomited but endured through. Only managed to reach Bugis at 3 but Wanlin was later by 15 minutes or so. :b

Headed to Bugis' iluma for the movie. Felt really useless because of my horrible sense of directory. Thank god Wanlin was there and I wasnt alone! :)

As far as I'd remember, I've known a pervert staying around my grandparents' area since young. He'd always approach my cousins and I whenever we were hanging around. Sounds like a pedophile? Yes I suppose.

Down on my lucky and saw him again today on the way to grandparents'. The moment I saw him waiting for the lift, I pretended to walk towards the mart. Waited for a minute or so and thought he was gone but no, he was actually waiting. Feigned using my phone so he entered the next lift. (thank god) Guess I don't ever wanna see him again!

Went to clinic with aunt as per normal after that, usual routine. The only thing different was:

Spending way too much during holidays. Need to start saving more once school reopens. Speaking of which, only two weeks left before school reopens. :'(

Went kbox with cousins on Friday @ Scape. Genevieve woke up at 3:50 when we're supposed to meet at 4pm, HAHAH. So yes, she arrived an hour later than the meeting time. Sis was darn delighted that day because a group of guys actually thought we were friends (of same age) and asked for numbers.

Alicia left after kbox to meet her boyfriend! Went to Ding Tai Fung for dinner with the girls after which. \m/ The food there was (Y).

Just when we're about to head home, we realized that the train service was down. Rushed to bus stop but there was like 3427443243 people and ALL the buses were full. Sis was super pissed cause we waited more than 30 minutes for transport. Walked back to somerset and trained to grandparents' instead. It was the first time I squeezed in so much just to enter a train. One of my worst experience everr. :/

The red line had problem again this morning. Was late for 6G class gathering because of this. >:( Truthfully, was upset because the class gathering was supposed to be a chalet. And we were only informed one day before that the chalet was cancelled. Despite that, still attended the gathering! Barely one quarter of the class turned up. Cinthya, H.Yixuan, Keith, Tingwei, Jamie and Madam Cheng. H.Yixuan overslept so Cinthya and I told a ~~lie~~white lie that half of the class was waiting for her. Hehehehe.

Ate at Sakae Sushi.

Madam Cheng refused to let us pay for the food. But let us pay $2 each to redeem our guilt, HAHA. Went to bishan to watch this:

Ballet at SCGS

Headed to SCGS for ballet lessons yesterday. Only Andrea Zixin Suxia Yunxuan Kokchuan and I went. Had no choice but to sit on Zixin's leg in the car cause there weren't enough seats, felt really bad because I grew heavier, HAHAH.

The moment we reached SCGS and passed by the dance room with the higher ballet grade dancers, I can't help but have the feeling of being inferior even though I told Suxia otherwise. Yes, we spent less than two years learning what they've spent probably more than eight years learning but.. the feeling of being inferior still remains. Oh well.

SCGS' dance room was darn huge. It's around the size of the exam room, twice the size of our dance room, can you believe that? And thankfully only one girl joined us during the lesson. Her name's Ariel. Reminds me of the mermaid in disney. :) She seems nice but we barely talked to her because we were.. ~~anti-social~~ afraid? Yes, afraid's the word.

As for today, I had the sudden urge to complete some homework so I did. Happy with myself because I tidied up my room and it's neatttttttt. Apart from that irritating tall pile of A and E maths worksheet, lazy to arrange them. :(

Went for lunch together at Mac. This crazy girl was green from top to toe. Green iPad cover, green phone cover, green bag, green shirt. Both of us were in complete denial because we couldn't think of what Queenie needed. After a super long time, we decided to get her..

Yes, a 'I need money' wallet since she always complain of having shortage of money. ;)

Since we had ample supply of time, we headed for Bugis!

Looked around at Bugis street. Didn't realize that there was a third floor. Or is it built only recently? Beats me. And so, both of us managed to get accessories that we like. It's darn worth it, around the price of accessories at flea markets.

Back to topic. I happened to remember something really bad I've done.

Any guesses what bad deed I can do in the past concerning this?

Ok, here's what happened: More than 10 years ago, when I was barely 5 years old, I went to Popular together with my mom and sis. And yes, this pinkish-red pen caught my attention. Naturally, like any child, I bothered my mom to get this for me. Since my mom couldn't find any reason why I needed the pen, she said no.

Taking the chance when my mom wasn't looking, the innocent (cough) and ignorant me hooked this pen onto my pants (using my shirt to cover somemore, HAHAH.) What I didn't realize was that my sis was actually just right behind me.

After we left Popular, in the washroom, I transfered the pen into my Pokemon bag pack. I forgot what happened after that but according to my mom, my sis exposed me when we got home and I got canned super badly.

Disclaimer: I was just a child so I didn't know what's wrong and what's not.

Up till now, I'm still wondering why the alarm at the entrance didn't went off.

Ballet lessons again this morning! Yunxuan wasn't feeling well because she had international breakfast, consisting of Bao (Chinese), Kuay Lapis (Malay), and Roti Prata (Indian). Cute or what! Hope she's feeling better now! Rushed down to bookshop to meet Amelia. Touched that she remembered my share for lunch, heheh. :')

Helped Auntie to push the files and art stuffs to the general office, along with Amelia and Gabriel. Amelia and I sat on the cart so Gabriel pushed us one round around the foyer in extreme speed. He was obviously panting but chen qiang, HAHAH.

Day at clinic

Almost oversleep today. Sis' morning call came to my rescue. \m/ Hurriedly prepared and took train to grandparents'. Ahgong only got home from the market after I reached. Went to kaypo and disturb him in the kitchen when he's busy preparing food. :B

Just so if you're wondering, its the process of skinning the cucumber. Took ahgong quite a while just to teach me how to use this simple-looking appliance.

Left grandparents' with gugu for the clinic around 12. Worked at the counter with Madam Wong. She's extremely motherly and friendly, just a little unorganized when she panics. Learned lots of stuffs from her tho. :) She had to leave early because of her flight to Japan tonight and she rejected my idea of smuggling me into her luggage. :(

Ate this during work. Love this childhood sweet of mine! Swallowed this sweet like 34628746 times when I was young, will never forget how horrible it feels.

Went back to grandparents' to meet up with dad, mom and sis. Bear bear wrote down a list of songs he want, my hardworking student, HAHAH. In the midst of downloading, he stuffed this weird looking object into my pocket and refuse to take it back.

Dance concert

Had ballet in the morning. Didn't do much - a little bit of Character Work, Free Movement, Classical, here and there. Spend the time after ballet @ the bookshop with Amelia and Rena. Cute boy Gabriel was there too! K I sound like a pedophile. But this sweet boy offered me his burger when he knew that I haven't had my lunch at 3. :')

Had quick lunch, with the girls accompanying. Don't know what to do without them. :D Didn't get to borrow a volleyball so the girls decided to go for basketball. Had to leave early for the preparation and everything. Met most of the dancers at cityhall around 6.

The dance concert was awesome. Amazed by how the dancers leave the stage from a corner then suddenly pop up from another corner. ♥ the partnerwork especially! The item was longer than 30 minutes, impressed/speechless with their stamina. Photography was forbiddened during the concert. :/ After the concert:

Truth? I created a tumblr few weeks ago and had thoughts of abandoning blogger. BUT, practically everyone I know plans to use tumblr so I abolished that thought. More importantly, I prefer blogger because I want to have the events of my life recorded, for me to laugh over the stupid things I used to do in the past. ;)

Speaking of which, I just got home from work. One word: EXHAUSTED.

Worked alone today and there was 2831276382626 people. K it's obvious that I'm exaggerating but people just keep coming, didn't even have time to rest. It was rather good in one way or another since time past by quickly. Get to become friends with Amanda today, she's a really nice person to get along with. :D Afterwhich, went to buy lunch with Yuxuan. Talked/rant non-stop with her on the way!

Then, it started raining super heavily. Shaozhe came to disturb with his clique. He jokingly told an auntie that he's the manager of the bookshop and that he'll give discounts the next time she comes, which made everyone laugh out literally.

Closed the bookshop around 3. Walked to the bus stop with auntie and Yuxuan, tired maxxx.

Life these days have been real busy with work, dance, and everything else.

Worked with Rena yesterday. To start off, the security guards wouldn't let Rena enter the school cause she was wearing home shorts with slippers. So Rena had to head back home to get changed and she was really pissed off. Well, as for work, it wasn't that bad but there weren't much people. Probably less than 25? Was darn happy when I got my pay. Although it's not a lot but the sense of satisfaction was enough. :)

After knocking off from work at 3, went to borrow volleyball with Rena. It's been pretty long since I've played volleyball. Amelia joined us after a while. Played continuously for 2 hours or so. Yes, that perfectly explains the bruises on my arm.

Down with flu and sore throat the moment I woke up this morning, it felt horrible, that's why I hate being sick!! Almost late for dance but mom sent me there. :b Honestly, I like the black long skirt cause it makes me look tall, HAHA. Having blisters all over my feet now because Zixin borrowed my footwear and she didn't come today. :/

Headed on to hub with the girls. After which we went to relive our childhood. :')

A getaway with family

Just landed home from Johor Bahru moments ago & I'm blogging the moment I reach home. Well, it was pretty much a last minute decision made last night. Had breakfast at a dim sum restaurant with family before 12 of us left for Malaysia! :)

Egg tarts are always the first thing I'll order at that restaurant because it's really good. :D

When we were leaving the restaurant, my adorable grandmother thought the glass door was an automatic door. So yes, she banged her head against it super hard. :S

Twin girls, Brielle and Kyrie, were born 12 weeks ahead of their due date. Needing intensive care, they were placed in separate incubators.

Kyrie began to gain weight and her health stabilized. But Brielle, born only 2 lbs, had trouble breathing, heart problems and other complications. She was not expected to live.

Their nurse did everything she could to make Brielle’s health better, but nothing she did was helping her. With nothing else to do, their nurse went against hospital policy and decided to place both babies in the same incubator.

She left the twin girls to sleep and when when she returned she found a sight she could not believe. She called all the nurses and doctors and this is what they saw:

As Brielle got closer to her sister, Kyrie put her small little arm around her, as if to hug and support her sister. From that moment on, Brielle’s breathing and heart rate stabilized and her health became normal.

From then on, they decided to keep both babies together, because when they were together they kept each other alive. :')

Being too engross in talking about my new blog yesterday, I forgot to post about Jesper's birthday celebration with the dancers on Wednesday. Confession: I was pretty reluctant to attend since Lixian Andrea weren't attending + Zixin wasn't sure if she's going. But it turned out much better than expected. Played mafia before moving on to block catching. 'Teamed up' with Shantel & N.Jiayu. I swear it was one of the most eggciting game I've played. Got the running man feel. :D

What's a birthday celebration without a cake? Baker: Shantel, N.Jiayu & Quanwen. The color was really unique and awesome, hold your jaws people!

Maybe my phone camera killed the quality, it looks really pretty in reality. Jelly that you dont get to see it? HAHA.

Though holiday has finally started (Y), I don't have the holiday feel yet. I think my body need time to adapt~ Filled up my holiday schedule with work/dance/etc. CAN'T WAIT! :D

A new start

Yessah. I'm ~~finally~~ almost done with setting up this new blog. Decided to change my url (yes, finally) since I've been using the previous one for 4 years or so. I'm satisfied with the changes I've made to the blogskin. :DD Not that it looks perfect but this was how it was before:
